Feb 2009 - National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony
National Honor Society is a proud tradition of MBS and it was with great pride and joy that welcomed our newest group of members at the induction ceremony. If the size of the incoming class of members is any indication of the efficacy of National Honor Society’s efforts to cultivate the core values of scholarship, leadership, service and character, than it would appear that our efforts paid off at as we welcomed in 7 new members! Although this was my third induction ceremony to be a part of, this one sincerely stood out as the best, being full of energy, determination and a sense of purpose. With our new, wonderfully dedicated advisor Ms. Cristina Alton, we swore in a promising class of members who look to lead MBS for the next few years to come. As splendid as the choir’s repertoire of sweet songs was, more splendid was the resounding affirmation of MBS’s commitment to outstanding character and service that rang out from the library that night. – Soren Nelson – 12th grade |
