Selection for membership is by the Faculty Council in accordance with the rules set forth in the Constitution of the National Honor Society.

Eligibility for membership is determined by academic excellence, service, leadership, and character. Candidates must have completed at least 3 semesters of high school (or 3 semesters of middle school in the case of the National Junior Honor Society).
