This 2008-2009 school year we have participated in and planned a wide variety of activities including:
The Angel Tree Project - collecting Christmas gifts on behalf of a local orphanage.
Thanksgiving Pie Feast - served as waiters for this annual event.
Children's Day and Easter Hunt - supported the elementary school teachers with the activities for these two important events.
Color Guard - September 15th Independence Day Acto Civico and during the Opening Ceremony for our school's 25th Anniversary.
25th Anniversary - Helped with the Memory Mural Bulletin Boards; Created the Treasure Hunt for Family Day; Coached and Refereed at the two Sports Day Tournaments; Facilitated the Ice Breaker for the Knowledge Bowl.
Poetry Week - Selected and read poems under the guidance of our Librarian, Ms. Quesada, to all levels K to 12 in order to promote interest and love of poetry.
National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society members are required to participate and support all school related activities and in fact most of our members are part of our school's champion volleyball, basketball, or soccer teams as well as have participated in Drama productions and Music performances.
