The National Honor Society was established in 1921 "to serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character (and Citizenship for NJHS). These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1921 and 1929." (http://www.nhs.us)
The Marian Baker School Chapter of the National Honor Society was formed in January 2000 and the Marian Baker School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society in March 2001.
Our commitment to serve our community, our school, and our fellow students is reflected in the specific goals we have for each year. To see what we did this past year click on the "Service" section of this web page.
